Bethlehem Place

Each year, the Frisco Cycling Club together with Richardson Bike Mart and Shawnee Trail Cycling Club organize a bicycle safety and skills clinic with Bethlehem Place.  A few bicycles are donated each year, kids where fitted to new bicycles, provided helmets, and spent a couple hours riding around a small skills course.  At the conclusion of the event the kids are surprised to find out they get to keep the bicycles.

Thanks to volunteer organizers Danny & Jeff (Frisco Cycling Club), Joel (STCC), and Brandon & Steve (Richardson Bike Mart) for hosting these terrific events!

Every year the Cork Dorks of the Frisco Cycling Club join Team Bike Mart for the Bike MS event in Frisco.  The Cork Dorks raised tens of thousands of dollars each year benefitting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society initiative to create a world free of MS.  The Cork Dorks are comprised of many FCC club members, and each year are easily identified by their Barefoot Wine jerseys.

Thanks to Cork Dorks captain Drew for putting together a great team each year!

Frisco Cycling Club members regularly spend time on Earthday and each quarter volunteering to help cleanup Frisco streets.  The Frisco Cycling Club maintains John Hickman Parkway just south of the Richardson Bike Mart in Frisco.

Special thanks to Michael G who has organized this for many years on behalf of the club, and to Bill H who organized this years cleanup activities.  Thanks to all the volunteers who woke up early to get things clean prior to The North Ride (pictured: Faith, Bill, Brad, Kent, Stephen, Drew, Chris, Linda, Jeff).
